Re: PP2017 Round 6 Match 7
Both get pretty 'out there' but B takes a bit longer to get there. Don't want to just vote for the shorter one, since they're both longer than they need to be, so I'll reward B for progressing a little less predictably and actually getting exciting toward the end.

Nice, two samples of European prog out of the familiar names. Both quite nice though hardly inspiring to look for more. But anyway both contribute to fill the expectations I could have for this cup. I'll vote for the one I find more coherent and better constructed. Sorry A, but that's

Electric glockenspiel? Check. Sounds of nuclear destruction? Check. Annoying keyboard refrain? Check. Blistering guitar solo? Check! Nice!
Krokus and their Insalata Insipidus can do one.

Nice matchup. A has some nice parts but lacks song structure.
Big fan of B love the buildup and then the all out craziness.

yep, a very good match-up. both have things i love about em. blistering gweetar never hurts, of course.
i think i'll go with A. i mean, i had this notion of krokus (based on 2.4 songs, mind ya), and this goes beyond that. i loved the looseness and the battiness of it. it surprised me all along the way. there's a slap-happy quality about it. others see that as a drawback. i don't.
p.s. the unicorn is for jumper k. i know it'll cheer him right up.

Very good match, both new to me and very good. As I said elsewhere I am on a shitty laptop right now with shitty speakers, so I'll get back to this because it's close and good enough to warrant a better listen.

Re: PP2017 Round 6 Match 7
I really wonder who picked this inept suite by my fellow countrymen (they come from a town 20 miles east of mine) who later found fame as just another metal band. It does have its charm, but everything else on their debut, is terrible (which doesn't keep it from going for silly money on Discogs).
B is a revelation, my favourite in the whole cup so far!

Wow, B has some wicked guitar in the middle.
Have to go with A though, for obvious progginess in the face of what they became.
