Was shocked KC played Indiscipline the other night in Red Bank, NJ. This shows how much I miss Belew in the new KC lineup. Also as great as Pat and Gavin were Bruford kicks ass here. So remember this tour.
Love Marles - Larry Young organ with Buddy Miles on drums this is a great jam piece.
tough call here I'll give it to A because I saw them this week

Re: PP2017 Round 6 Match 3
I like that era of Crimson a lot. There's a bit of pseudo new wavy 'quirkiness,' but I find it good-spirited - almost with an edge of self-parody to it. And Fripp's professorial bent will always present a amusing counterpart should it get to be too much.
McLaughlin's playing is great, and I love the aggressive tone of the whole thing, but Buddy Miles's hamfistedness comes damn close to ruining it for me.
A in a close call.

. Got Jimi's autograph after the show and went on to see him several times that year

I love this KC lineup and how much Adrian Belew contributed to make things work. This track is great though I could live without the spoken parts.
Marbles is an all-time fave of mine in the Santana /Miles version and only recently I came accross the original, and it is certainly better.
Tough, but B

This is more like it. My favourite KC period. This is batshit bonkers.

Good tracks, both of them. A has the edge for me here.

No Belew backlash then? Might be a mood thing, but I actively dislike Indiscipline, and B isn't much better, sorry.

B really gets up a head of steam in the second half, but I can't vote against
Pontificating incorrigibly since birth.
