I like some Mew but this isn't it (they've done much worse too, though). A is a good theme for a very good film.

Love the film hate the theme. Casio have a lot to answer for.
Mew? Christ. Chuck in a few death grunts and now we're talking.

Don't know the movie, but the theme to A is engagingly cheesy. He probably thought he was being modernist at the time, now it sounds like background music at a theme party. I'll just sit in the corner nursing my drink...

B is Billy Squier's dream band.

Nothing offensive but nothing memorable in either of them.

A just edges it.

the mew track is pretty good, especially when it gets into those other-gear, weird modes i wasn't expecting. i like it.

i hafta admit, though. i am beyond happified to see/hear the escape from new york theme. mwhaha. i loved the movie and the theme. sometimes a casio can be just what the carpenter ordered.

Liked both of these, actually. B is just a bit more 80's productioned-out. A sounds like a nice cross between Tangerine Dream and Alan Parsons (Casio be damned!!!)

Not really that into Mew and doubtful that I ever will be. So, definitely feeling A here.

That Mew-track was pretty cool!
The Carpenter-track is a favourite of mine though..

Beaten by a tune a 9 year old with a 20 year old Casio keyboard could have knocked out in 2 minutes. I despair.
