a - The Dawg had this lot's Go Go Go on the short list, but this is much more like it, a piece of party-style rhythm and blues that didn't so much inspire rock (like Go Go Go supposedly did, in part) as ride the wave. Love that squealing honking 1940s-style horn and the general rumble of the well-stocked rhythm section - 6.5 / 10
b – Well I love Jerry Lee, but this video is terrible. It's so bass-heavy that the drummer drowns out the piano. I think that's the first time in the whole cup I had to turn something off before the end. The studio cuts of Breathless, any of them, but the single in particular, might have stood a chance, but not that. 1 / 10

Not trying to be obscurist here (well, not too much...), so I would happily vote for the live track if there were something particularly notable about it. It's energetic, but I'm assuming any from that period would be. And it's a fairly obvious track as those things go, so I'm going to go with A, which is just exciting and interesting enough.

I love Jerry Lee, but the Treniers are where it's at for me right now.

A is fantastic and would probably get my vote if I had been the first to post in this match, but I feel that B is getting an unfair beating. True it's an obvious pick and true the sound forces you to guess a lot beyond what you can actually listen, but this performance does show why I love Jerry Lee Lewis.
