Yeah, B's pretty great, albeit a bit jammy. Fascinating story, too:

Sorry B but I came for the music and I'm not interested in circus acts. A is nothing special but at least it's not outrageous.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I don't know if I really like the second one or it's annoying. Another "i'll come back to it".

B is hardly a circus act. This is a quite restraint outing for them. Remarkable how many countries actually restricted rock 'n roll, Indonesia being one of them. Took a long time for them to thaw that stance but by that time many of their best musicians had flown the coop. Just see the Youtube-clip of how the Beatles rocked the Kremlin and open the doors for rock in the Soviet Union being another prime example.
Seen Andy getting his due props performing up until his death in 2011 was gratifying. So many Indo-rock artists went unappreciated in their own and adopted countries and outside of the large community of Indonesians who fled the Suharto-regime to Holland, no one had ever heard of them...until they started playing live and a collective klunk could be heard from jaws dropping on floors. These guys broke down barriers in more than one way.

Tough. I like A, but b has really grabbed me. What a great backstory.

That was probaly a harsh comment on my side, sorry if I offended someone. I can sympathize with them and their troubles with Indonesian political situation, but this kind of exhibition like playing guitar with drumsticks, feet, whatever (same as Hendrix playing with his teeth or those guys playing the guitar behind their back), always gets on my tits. Especially when there is too much of that and too little relevant music behind.

I knew that you didn't mean it as a personal slight on the band but more about the antics they pulled...but that is how they rolled for the times they were onstage, just egging each other on. It wasn't stage-acted or purely done out of a need for a showbizz-element in their show. These guys were really good. To see them here doing their bit here just is what rock 'n roll was about for me- the liberation in their playing and freedom of movement- in a way a 'fuck you' to the limp state of affairs in music and entertainment in general, the way it shook up the frugal community- represented a new generation. With the Tielmans it came with the extra freedom of losing the ballast of their nation's history. I can't think of anything more joyful than to rock out with a middle finger up to the establishment.

I was ready to vote for A, which is really great, but was gobsmacked by B (great story too)

And haven't we had Slow Down before?
Idiot of the week voting against his own choice!
"Haven't we had Slow Down before?" "No, you dummy, it was when you were sorting your list out."
Thank god it wasn't close.
I thought that might be what happened there. Well, it is a long competition.
