If anyone objects to 48 hours let me know. Otherwise we'll go with that for this round -- so Round 3 would start Friday am, and end on Sunday morning.

I think matches pick up more votes if they're played over weekdays rather than weekends - there was a big drop-off in voting between round one and two. Maybe the voting could be extended to include Thursday or Monday?

Is that down to the days of the week or the fact that as people go out they aren't bother to vote though?

I'm not a fan of the extended voting window personally. I think it makes the whole thing drag but looking at the ties there is clearly a not insignificant group of people voting after the 48hours is up. But then with only 4 matches in the next round surely 48 hours is enough?

In the past there have been people who've said they struggle to find the time for voting at the weekends - busy with family, friends etc, whereas weeknights and downtime at work at perfect for doing it.
That said there is always a core of people who lose interest after their own list gets the boot, or after they go through the whole first round and realise it's all a load of rubbish.

Waiting on one list still.

I'm pretty sick today (flu maybe pneumonia) so I just took the last of my old dental prescription for codeine which is making me dizzy/sleepy now. If I get the last list (echolalia) soon, I'll post the matches for the quarterfinals. Otherwise I will likely be out cold and won't be able to do it until mid-morning tomorrow, sorry.

Due to delays and board wonkiness I had a late start kicking this off. I don't want to be up at 3am on Saturday night, so the matches will be extended and the voting period will end on Sunday February 26th at NOON MST / 7:00 PM GMT.
