A has a good groove going on.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Again, two strong lists but B calls out to me that bit more. Was going to put Golden Years in my own list.

I'm torn. The madness of DAF and Rocket From the Tombs appeal more but its patently the wrong Jehu track.

5 stellar additions for A tips the balance here, as a general aesthetic slightly closer to home. Having said that, B has improved as well. Oh well, you gots to choose.

Gotta be B. A has some nice picks but most of it's dull. And I do love me some Barry Adamson. Even Jarvis Cockhead can't ruin it for me.

The Gene Pitmey is great as are the Big Joe Turner and Johnny Burnette but I'm not going to decide this on classics alone. Not much else here exites me so for the first time this year - ABSTAIN

B. A's five new tracks could not have been more tedious.

B is a slightly less unpalatable shit sandwich.

I really liked A in round one but it has gone clubbing with a bunch of Guardian staff. B was spotty first time round but has improved. All four matches in the second half of this round have been difficult to pick but like match 7, this one is because I like both.

I think I will give A a chance to win me over again.
