I like a fair bit on A (Impossible Germany is ace) but the new adds don't really take it forward. Against it is the behemoth that is B, just about my favourite list in this whole shooting match. Fairly easily then...

I'm struggling for something to say about A. There are some good things there but a lot, particularly in the new five, that is just OK. B has more pizzazz and flair even if it isn't always in the right areas.

A has gone quite obscure with the last 5, maybe too much so for the overall list. It makes it look somehow unbalanced, but after listening to it all through again - except for the Wussy and Angel tracks which didn't play - I find it pretty great. B keeps on keeping on though with some strong choices; more well-known, but none that try my patience or that I personally dislike. The DC pick is just ok, and kinda stands out for me in a strong finish. I'll go A for a little more adventurousness, but i'll be happy with either to go through.

The only "I'm Gonna Get You" I can find is by Nina Kraviz or Bizarre Inc.

I believe I voted for both of these before.....they're pretty even, but with the new ones, I'm voting for

Works fine stateside for me. Teardrops et all work.

It's probably a region specific issue.

All 3 links mentioned above don't work - "Not available".

I also had 3 links in A's new five that didn't work, but I did check out Darkness Fish's live Wussy link.

Difficult to choose between, but I guess B edges it. I don't mind that Durutti Column track, and I'm usually a bit of a sucker for Elvis.

A seems to be getting more interesting.

B hasn't taken any missteps, but hasn't been daring enough for my taste.

I’m not madly keen on either set of new picks (two broken links in A). So

B

carries it solely on its momentum from the first round.

Although B has Material Girl the fact it got through Round 1 so convincingly against a list of such out-and-out quality will be a skidmark on this message board that will linger long after the internet itself is rendered obsolete.
