Couldn't have put it better. Not sure how Lloyd Cole managed to gatecrash that list.
Not sure I can see B going much further - Some lazy cover versions -Davis, Beatles and M Ward (when there's loads of great M Ward songs to choose from) and a great though unimaginative Smiths pick. Props for Chuck Prophet and Rodriguez though and while I like that Terry REid track it's hardly quintessential Reid coming from early in his career when Mickie Most was still trying to make him a pop star (Wasn't that also released by The Fortunes ?)

Prison sex huh? I did a big paper on sex in women's prisons vs men's for a gender studies class back in college and while rape and assault do happen and coercion and protection are a part of sexual life in prison, most sexual activity in prisons is usually consensual There's nothing wrong with seeking out pleasure, intimacy, protection and connection in a horrible environment in my book.

I like B, but I'll take the fur lined posing pouch and prison sex appeal of A.
