Tough one for me. There is stuff on both I really like and a good bit that was new to me.

Going to go B though - dug that Secret Powers tune and that Black Merda track still rocks. I never heard that John Cale track before - quite enjoyed that. So you get the vote despite that dire Ross Wilson track.

Love the Tribe tune though A.

I like A in patches but PItney and Cope aside it treads a fairly narrow path. Why is everyone afraid of POP MUSIC ?
B gives more variety and the Splitsville track is rather wonderful.

Hoo boy, that was a lot of work! I don't mind having to listen to a lot of new stuff if it's rewarding, but this was mostly work. And some of the stuff I know from B is because it was in the play-in. Is that allowed?

So, basically this is Gene Pitney and ATCQ vs. The Dirtbombs and Blue Rose Code, with maybe Cale vs. Cope as the tie-breaker.
