Some nice things on A (Nothing wrong with Dogs). But B has the better tunes,

Some Hitchcock is always welcome, and I really liked the Action, Martyn and Crockett songs, but overall B was a mixed bag for me. I found A really groovy on the other hand, some great tracks there with Les Miserables and especially Mongo Santamaría. A it is!

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Hitchcock is terrible, Dogs is awful. David Byrne tips it over the edge. A.

A's interesting, and I like the chemises, but overall not quite so much my thing.

A is good. But not as good as B.
B gets the vote.

A is going for that international groove and soulful feel, but it has lots of deep cuts that weren't really worth digging up. When the most appealing tracks are one by a glorified tribute band and another that was made famous by Kula Shaker, you know that you're not actually as cool as you think you are.
B is fairly solid, though that Fire Theft thing is horrific and the Byrne is crap too. Plus points for Derrick Morgan, The Action and the last three.
I'll give it to B because A has that suspicious hipster quality to it.

A hasn't exactly gone heavy on variety, although 2 of the links didn't work for me (Toussaint & Ramsey Lewis), and I was already getting the feeling that there wasn't much to appeal or change.
I've only got to Derrick Morgan, but this is going to B for me, because that's a much more interesting list already.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I used to hear that Los Amaya track a lot in the bars of Malasaña/Chueca in Madrid. There was a rumba catalana revival going on! (The great Peret too.) Close but

Both of these lists have some fine material. I like A slightly more.

Oof, nice match. Lots to like on both, but I think in the end A has a better strike rate for me. And Dogs is fucking great, you muppets.
