Find something amazing on someone else's list that is new to you, or a long forgotten gem? Talk about it here.

Discoveries? Isn't the whole purpose of the BCB cup to vote according to what we already like? :)

I'm interested in listening to more Black Merda. I'd never heard of them, and they were doing some solid Hendrix-sounding stuff in 1967.

Playing a comp right now. Viva Spotify!

That it doesn't matter how nuanced and delightful a list is, yr up against the BCB Q-minded. Good luck!
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

As usual, one of the best things about Cups is the ability to cherry pick new to you stuff from other lists. This year I've picked up stuff from Laura Nyro, Red Snapper, Brigitte Fontaine, Black Merda, Meat Puppets, Friends of Distinction, Jacques Dutronc, Gang Starr, Jessie Ware and others. Bring on the next round...

There's quite a lot of soul. Or is that just me?
