It's A but B nearly pulled it off with the Wiper's track!

I'll go for A, although it is faltering a bit.

I like a fair amount of B, and special props for Wipers and Cocteaus, but

A.

Both lists are pretty good, but I'm feeling the vibe of A more. Even so, it's tough to vote against the Cocteau Twins...

Well B (inexplicably :D ) knocked me out, but I'd have possibly voted for it against a fair number of other lists. Not perfect by any means. I could have done without Blur for example.

My initial adverse reaction was based on the number of tracks with distinct foreign artists/titles which always looks a bit cynical and designed to reel in the cool vote. Playing these both confirmed and denied my suspicions (I really liked the Adriano Celentano which was wild)

And Ronettes/Cocteaus/Wolf and Glen Campbell are all bankers for me so I' just feeling B a bit more

Aargh - an initial count has this at 26-26, and a second at 23-27! I'll do another recount, but I'd like confirmation of this, if you would be so kind!

It's been a bad month for Canada.

So does Harv root for his home continent now, or for the empire?

Fuck the lot of you. I'm just glad I got to knock three useless Yanks out of the running.
Oh well, even if I had got to the final I was going to shit the bed in spectacular fashion with 5 Van Halen songs so the eventual winner wouldn't have even felt good about their win, that's how much I hate this fucking competition.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.
