A beat me and I decried its partial hipsterism in my recrimination but it really is a pretty darn good cocktail for all that. B has a lot of cracking stuff with a few strange and not always convincing detours involved. Both, therefore, appealing and yet not quite all there. Will resort to links and ticks tomorrow.

A's got the right mix of classics and nearly-classics.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Which is ballsier for cup inclusion, Mills Brothers, or Pigmeat Markham? James Carr sways me to to vote A, but both lists have merit. I think I know who B is.

Yep. B is the shittiest and greatest whereas A is more consistently shitty and great. Joyce decided it.

Both lists are good and both have plenty of fine selections. As often happens in these situations I gravitate towards the one that seems to have a bit more colour and fun about it and that's B.

I liked B from the start but it really starts to lose me while progressing...I did vote against A in the beginning but it starts to gain a bit on the back of some of the additions....

B misfires with KC, in my opinion. Not because it's KC, but because the selection is so generic, in a K-Tel kind of way. Even the selection of the incendiary Swamp Dogg feels forced because I've seen it too many times in the Cup.

A has Dr. Octagon. Game over.

Overall there's a bit more for me in A, although it loses a bit of spark picking those Eno and Young tracks.
