B is better.

But, really, matches 7 and 8 are not doing it for me at all. Bitter? Absolutely!

(and this is on its own merit and NOT because I hold B for being responsible for my - wholly undeserved - Waterloo in Round 2  )

The last two votes were a little too late, though the tie was decided long ago; indeed B had garnered 13 votes before A got on the board. A 10, B 35. A was Magilla...five more songs from B, please.

Jesus, that's decisive!

Tough break, Maggie.

Bugger! I was going to vote for you too, Grant. I forgot to log in last night. :(

You live by the sword, you die by the sword. For the second year running I've had to go into - and win - a tie-breaker before making it into the third round.
This, in effect, really takes the wind out of your sails. Voters are already familiar with your next five and are already jaded by it; you simply lose momentum and interest from them.

I'm off to bitter recriminations. All I can say for now is "Fuck you, John Coan!".
"U2 routinely spent a year in the studio...I have a theory: if you put four monkeys in the studio for a year with Lanois and Eno and Lillywhite, they would make a pretty good record, too."
