B is the more daring and eclectic list, but we need some quality control here - Sex Dwarf is a joke. A, on the other hand, is nearly all good stuff - and I can't really recommend Sanford Clark highly enough - the sweetest surprise in this year's cup. I'd like to see A go all the way. 8-)

Actually, I'm trying to overlook pet hate inclusions this year. If a list is worthy enough, it'll get my vote.

I like B quite a bit, but A is great.

That Bjork song is really a wonderful thing. But hey, she's Icelandic and sings in a funny voice. Or something.

I don't like Björk much because I don't like her voice. But musically she's often rather fascinating and there's certainly some truth in the idea that A wouldn't pick something like that.

Otherwise A is pretty strong, there are some very fine selections there and much that interests me. But it is one-dimensional and I am drawn to the wider variety and liveliness of B.

A might have better songs on the whole, but I really like B's eccentricities, and put simply, I would prefer to listen to it as a mix.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Shame to go against Beefheart, Dylan and Chris Clark but B just about gets the nod. Firstly because it's nice to find somebody else who loves that Darondo track and secondly to cancel out one of the Bjork haters.

Really.... I got to say fuck B.... fuck B in the ass with the Nina Simone's spine... A

Yes... I may be a sore loser... at least this week (if you survive B you'll probably get my vote the next round but at the moment the pain is too damn fresh... like a freshly found bog corpse).
