A, man, you really have made up a very personal and interesting list, kudos. But B is just a list i'd wanna listen to more often.

Can, Dr John, Van Morrison...ugh. So B takes it, but if it gets through it really needs to get its act together with its next 5.

for me, because I think it's one of the best :P (and in spite of A's nice final run with Martin Newell, Villagers & Zoe Keating)

A takes more chances, and I like it's new five significantly better, but on the whole, and though it galls me to vote for a list with both Kirsty MacColl and Kraftwerk, it'll be B.

Fuck it. Don't remember even seeing A before. B gets it despite that Klark Kent (and some other) rubbish.

The new additions to both are interesting enough.

However, I'm going to stick with A, as I do like it more overall. Also, of A's new five, although I find the Martin Newell track simply annoying (so that's Martin Newell?), I DO really like both the cover from the X-TG 'Desert Shore' project and the Zoë Keating cello track.

Some shockers in both new 5s. Elsewhere a case of sifting through the good stuff. On balance too many missteps on B The wrong Everlys track for starters. A drives me to despair at times as I have previously commented on. But Dr John , Joni and Cale see it through , but not much further I suspect

B's getting more interesting - great Kraftwerk choice, but I still dig A's artrock vibe.

I thought these two lists were very similar in quality, so I'm surprised this isn't closer. Oh well, A 19, B 33. Commisserations to Blue Meanie, who was A, but B marches on to the quarter finals and should send me five more songs.

Congrats and good luck to B. I'm actually quite surprised that I got as far as I did (first time into the 3rd round). I was originally considering putting last years Prog Cup list in, but thought that would be waisting a place as it was limited to 64 this year.

Many thanks to those that voted for me (including Moddie, who voted for one of my lists for the first time!). You all have impecable taste! Immensly enjoyable as ever.

Well, I guess we're even now, since I beat you in the first (?) Prog Cup (still don't know how that happened).

Sorry, Paul.
