The party has come to order and the rules say A. The original 10 had some real clunkers for me (didn't get my vote... but it was close) however the additions work well for me. Plus it's nice to vote for Sister Ray this time around.

I know it's all a bit of the same almost sort of thing, but fuck me, it's my sort of thing and I still love the inclusion of The Cure (obv) plus one of the greatest Smiths tracks, some Shriekback ( altho not their best) and a triffic Gang of 4

I'm taking A home with me, for a damn good seeing to.

A for sure. Less adventurous - in terms of the Cup - but more satisfying.

B's an excellent list and should win this handily. I liked the other list OK when Rhino released it as "Post-Punk Chronicles," but I think I've moved on. Variety is the spice of life.

Other way round for me. I voted for it before but think its lost a bit of pep and gained bit more cider & black. Got to admire the single-mindedness; definitely a personal stamp. On the other hand, I also like B quite a bit even if it teeters on the BCB hipster fringes. It does enough for me.

B in a mighty runaway. If A had thrown even a slight curveball at the proceedings, maybe there's a chance they'd get my vote. But it's more of the same, only worse. Sisters of Mercy? Puh-lease. B's added to the eclection, on the other hand, with the help of that monstrous Lee Morgan track.

I really like 'Pink Frost' and am pleased to see at least two lists featuring it, but the rest of B doesn't grab me, overall.

A is refusing to come out of it's black bedroom while B has pulled out some big guns with Lee Morgan and Mighty Baby.

For me, one of these lists scores 9/15.
