Nothing against Slade per se but Coz I Love You in a cup list really does stand out like a particularly unpleasant overripe gorgonzola. Hit and Miss throughout these two. George Jackson is the clincher for

It is a shame two such good lists come up against each other.

But A is just better

I quite like the new additions to both; I think that B remains a little stronger.

The Craig- I Must Be Mad -link
T. Rex- The Slider -link

Neneh Cherry- Buffalo Stance -link

The Beach Boys- I Know There's an Answer -link
Jacqueline Taieb- Le Coeur au Bout des Doigts -link
The Dream Syndicate- Then She Remembers -link

Two very good lists- A seems to be more consistent, and probably has the bigger hitters overall to these ears ("Stay with Me", "Heart of Glass", "Pink Frost", etc) and is slightly more classicist in its choices. B is a little looser, and has more stuff I'd really like to get to know, along with some strong classics (great Velvets, Bill Withers, T-Rex and Beach Boys picks) so in this case it shades it. Either would be welcome at my abode.

I find A a bit confusing, segueing from the sublime (The Summertime Killer - great pick) to the ridiculous (PWEI - really?). And this is only the most sever of a mixed list.

B adds some pretty solid extras to an already decent list.
