Unusually for me, I'm going to abstain - there are several things I can't stand on both and what's left isn't strong enough to decide on. So I won't influence this one either way.

And A has the wrong version of the VU track, not the '1969' one! Grr!

Not thrilled with either, but A is a little less not thrilling.

Nearly voted A but Portishead and the wonderous Costello song tipped the scales.

Both lists are a complete mess.

A has more I like, but I wouldn't want to be sat beside them at a party.

A has a clutch of favourites including the glorious Life In A Northern Town
Nowt wrong with the Rush pick in B but they are not a wise choice for a BCB cup list and a Stairway to Heaven cover is pretty much cup suicide so I guess B is a first timer.

Two Bcb cup by numbers lists...much like my own.

A is slightly better.
there are things that I say I should consider, before I talk.

The problem with putting the artists first is that I see names like the Waterboys or Simple Minds and prejudice walks right in. "Safe In My Garden" shines out like a diamond in shite.

I can't believe I'm voting for a list with The Waterboys and Public Enemy on it.
Glittering Prize is still great.

Public Enemy kills A, I mean both lists have weak points, but B is saved by Mamas & the Papas.
1966 and all that

Yep, it's A for me thanks to those great slices of early 80s Simple Minds and New Order, plus some classic hip hop.
