Somehow I doubt that.

On BCB, I'm sure there were even PMs exchanged! And a flounce!

Does that mean Round Three will start later in the week?

Actually, I'll start round 3 when I get back from my exciting night in Kettering! Sorry, but I only learned about this last night...also, I'll give advance warning. I have a job interview on Wednesday, in Preston, which is a 3-hour plus train journey from Peterborough. God knows what time I'll get home, but I will endeavour to post results and ties at some point in the evening.

Hooray! And good luck on the interview.

I don't mean to hector you, man...I'm just a Cup enthusiast!

But I'm just a Chod so it's not my place to question.

*EDIT* I take it back. I just listened to the tie-breaker songs, and these lists are pretty much even for me. If it was only 3 songs each, there would be even greater chance of another tie....wouldn't there?

You haven't been a chod for about a year... I even released you from it on my signature.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone. However, I've only just got back in, and after a horrid journey back from Kettering (road diversions at this time of night!) I feel tired. Therefore, I will post the first third round ties tomorrow morning. Sleep tight everyone (unless you're in Australia or New Zealand, in which case you'll these ties sometime this evening...).

Indeed! But if you get the job, does that mean even further delays in hosting the Cup?

OK, the first three ties for Round 3 are now posted in an unusual morning (Europe, North America) or evening (Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Hong Kong - have I covered all bases now?) slot. Sorry for the delay. I'm still awaiting one round three list (I have informed the culprit), so hopefully that will arrive in time for the next set of ties.

Get voting, everyone!

I'll be in Japan from Saturday for two weeks. You can drop the Indonesia for that period. ;)

Hi everyone - I've just returned from my interview. A round trip to Lancashire from Cambridgeshire is fairly gruelling. I've no idea how the interview went; we'll have to see.

Anyway, allow me to fix some food, and I'll post new ties tonight.

There you go folks - three shiny new ties! This works out quite neatly. I now have all 16 lists for round three, and the last two ties will be posted tomorrow. Round four will hopefully commence on Sunday night, when all four ties will be posted in a frenzy of fresh cup activity!

What I meant to ask about ties is, do you go back to people who have abstained (if any have) and ask them if they can reach a decision. :?:

I have never abstained before but have had two in one night tonight.

No. It's the BCB equivalent of a spoilt ballot paper.

And good show on the new ties Andrew. Get voting people!

HEY, BCB -

As it turns out, A Tribe Called Quest wasn't history's only hip hop group. ;)
