This is a right tanking I'm afraid:
A - 15; B - 48
Ouch! A was Coan's mate Laurence of Euphoria, who did well to get this far, but who has come up against a list that looks worth watching. Five more songs are now required from B.

I'd like to know what that "Jesus Was Way Cool" selection was all about!

Well I found it a refreshing switch from Detachable Penis which is most people's go-to track for King Missile.
I usually opt for Cheesecake Truck myself.

I don't know anything about him/them.
Is he some kind of comedy act?

I like that one too.

"A massacree!", to quote Doris Day in Calamity Jane. Well done to B - a stellar list.
For this round I asked my better half to choose 5 songs from my 'long list' and you could say she opted for some of the more eccentric choices on there. So of course I am going to blame her for my ignominious exit.
If I remember correctly, King Missile were on the Shimmy Disc label and Jesus Was Way Cool and Cheesecake Truck were on an album called Mystical Shit. I think JWWC has a funny lyric and pretty melody, but I can see how people might find it a one-trick pony. I don't know the song about the detachable penis!
Anyway, I'm very happy to have got as far as I did and look forward to seeing how the rest of the cup plays out. And thanks to Martha for the words of consolation.

I must have been in a vile mood last night. Both lists were better than I remember them.
