Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Challenging- this seems to be the new way of the cup. Lists with a bunch of head-scratchers amongst the real discoveries. With all the links it takes more energy just to vote than ever before. And even a bunch of listening doesn't clarify things all that much. Such is the case here.

In the end I guess I forgive B some of the arty excess. It's a really nice run in middle.

Wasn't sure about A initially but it's growing on me. It's just an unpretentious set of good songs and whilst it might not be the most ambitious, it has the courage to look to non-BCB approved artists and makes a good job of selecting the right songs. B is more to my taste in some respects, but is looking all too BCB to me tonight.

Choosing Kylie's a bit daft, isn't it? and there's also the terminally crap GBV in A. BUT the Rose Royce song is an absolute beaut - and fantastic Stones, Stranglers, Human League and Sparks songs.

however B gets my vote, despite 'Jambalaya' (for fuck's sake why?) and a couple of posey modern things.

There's some cracking stuff on B but too many puzzling choices. A however, as our leader in exile has previously stated, has a nice unpretentious quality. And I want to see Nat King Cole make it through.
