B

B is a cool and lively list. No chin-stroking at all, just pure fun.

It's so very nearly a tie, on the basis of

List A

Gillian Welch - The Way It Goes :)
Chris Bell - Look Up :)
The Modern Lovers - Government Center :)
Glen Campbell- Ghost On The Canvas :)
Bob Dylan & The Band- Katie's Been Gone :) (I couldn't get the video, here, though)
Michael Rother- Karussell :)
Sin Fang- Fall Down Slow :)

List B

1. Monkey Man - Baby Huey and the Baby Sitters :)
3. Rocks Off - The Rolling Stones :)
4. We Got The Beat - The Go-Go's :)
5. A Shot Of Rhythm And Blues - Arthur Alexander :)
11. Friday On My Mind - The Easybeats :)
16. Send Me A Postcard - Shocking Blue :)
18. Spoonful - Howlin' Wolf :)
20. Mini Mini Mini - Jacques Dutronc :)

(However, B also has Francoise Hardy's legs, and I'd be lying if I said that that didn't at all influence me, shallow fellow that I sometimes am.)

I'll chose: B has just that bit more, for me. But they are both very good lists. I also very much liked the Sin Fang track (an artist new to me). I think this one will be close.

B wins by a whisker, solely due to the fact I prefer its final five.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

B has a touch more fun. Also, don't like some of the versions of songs list A provided.
