A is solid, unpretentious and quite enjoyable. B is OK but loses out here.

I like the fact that A has picked some really good pop songs, but it seems a little limited, not much there to knock you out in terms of musical adventure.
B is hard to get a handle on, but is the more interesting. I clicked on the Cecil Garret link and I'm glad I did because it had the kind of spark that's missing a bit from A.
