B

the other list doesn't seem to care about The Cup.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

A has taken a Rolling Stone comp from 1972 and put Kraftwerk and Lee Scratch Perry on in the interest of appearing "up to date". Two Hendrix songs?

B quite comfortably.

B's not perfect, but most of it's interesting. A's not bad but a bit like a random shuffle.

Wow -this is a real 'which side of the bed are you on' tie, no half measures here! :)
To be honest anyone voting A reveals a complete lack of curiosity about music beyond the very mainstream.
This is not to say A is bad necessarilly, I would have voted for it against some of the other lists in round two, but it does nothing to surpise and pretty much stays within the set text of the 60's and 70's.
B is not just obscurity for the sake of it, there are some great tracks there.
