My joint favourite selection in the contest so far continues to hit the spot for me:

A.

( Shame, as the other has "Head On" and that would normally be a winner for me)

Well B is pretty good, but A is nearly flawless. As long as it doesn't get sterile...there's some potential for that.

I was very tempted at first glance to go for A simply because they picked a few tracks I'd used myself in the past, but actually using the 'what would you rather listen to if it was a mix' test rather than simply looking for a few individual songs you're predisposed to, then B comes out on top by some distance. I should imagine I'd get quite a lot out of listening to B.

Best track Shooting Star, best list B.

Both competitors have mananged to compile good lists here. B though has managed it with braver and fresher picks.

Both are decent, I'd just about go for B overall.

Two strongish lists, even if they are both a tad to furrowed of brow. B wins the day with the fabulous Brainstorm.

Not crazy about either. I don't mind the Stone Roses, but putting them in a list for the BCB Cup? Why would you do that?

A crawls over the finishing line for me.

A couple of great tracks swing it- barely- for A. Not too excited by either, frankly.
