I went in expecting to be knocked out in the first round, instead I made it farther than ever before. And I did it with a list I put together without too much care.

That said, anyone who voted against my list, I just don't know what the fuck you want. I challenge anyone to name a song on my list that's anything less than great. You have no fucking taste. Unlike past years, I love and will defend every single one of my choices.

Dan Sartain - Leeches (Pt. I)

To be fair there were some really good picks on there, perhaps I made a mistake I don't know. But I think I found it aesthetically a bit narrow, it was all a bit too American if you know what I mean. :? :)

They give me a wink and then throw me in the freezer!

Hard to believe but I know what's true.

Before, during previous rounds, it was as if response was based on FACT. Hand in hand, some drummed along. People burned off all the fog and let the sun through to the snow. They understood that feel-good music is good for the body and good for the soul. I saw the new world; we were gonna ride away into eternal skies and rock the Planet Rock without stopping. The deeper we'd go, the higher we'd fly, speeding along like dynamite. We'd live on blood and wash our troubles away.

Now, every time I comb my hair, thoughts of BCB death get in my eyes. I can't believe life is so complex.

Well BCB I got some news for you - don't even need you too!

I guess I better make up a way to spend the time. How about this: I'll break down and you'll hear me cry?

Fair play to A, though. God dug your dance. You came, you saw and don't you know that you conquered my list.

You are forgiven. Anyway, I'm gonna be a Pharoah soon. You know what happens next.

'With respects to some of the humdingers that have been posted earlier, bitter recriminations feels a bit thin this year. I'm not sure if they are starting to feel oh so 2010, but I have to say this saddens me. I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that I'm still in my pre-adolescent phase of my BCB membership and bitter recriminations is the fart joke portion of the cup, but I really looked forward to it the last two years.

Please help honor this BCB tradition with your input or at the very least tell me to fuck off.

Think you got complaints? I went to the trouble of writing a Bitter Recrimination composed of lyrics from every single song on my god damn list and not one of you has so much as chortled and said "I see what you did there."

Bitter recriminations about bitter recriminations...

Good day to you, sir.

Bobzilla, I feel bad now. I thought you had some kind of cool stream of conscious thing going that I wasn't qualified to comment on. You can be too clever about these things; usually lowest common denominator works best, a couple of well placed f bombs in the noun, adjective, and/or verb form and if I've learned anything from our English brethren nothing quite satisfies like cunt, I'm getting little tingly sensations of adrenaline just typing the word. I applaud you for your efforts to mix it up a bit, but I think your subtle dexterity may have traveled right over our BCB heads.

Loki-- you were right to tell me, I've had it coming for a long time.

I see what you did there or more importantly I didn't see what I did there.

Well, the two best lists lost out in the semis. It's a doggone shame. I don't think it should've even been close!

I agree. Especially Matt's list should have won that in a canter.
