Obscurity factor nil in A (but not a single clunker or no-no so far)

The only Decemberist song I dislike in B

You utter utter fuckheads. Forty five fucking fuckheads (Okay, forty four - I'll forgive the person who actually submitted the list. Just) who thought that a list with thin-voiced, lightly flat-sounding Kirsty "Mrs Steve Lillywhite" MacColl (Really, is that really the best version of Miss Otis Regrets? While we're at it, is it only me who thinks that the Blessed Kirsty is possibly the most overrated female artist of the last thirty years? The girl was a session musician who happened to get lots of backing vocalist gigs through here husband), Kate "this one's based on a Russian folk tale. A really fucking stupid and completely implausible one" Bush, not to mention the Electric Shite Orchestra and excruciatingly unimaginative crowd-pleasers from Dusty Springfield, Nirvana, Isaac Hayes, The Small Faces, The Teardrop Explodes, Jimmy Cliff, Stealer's Wheel (I could go on...) is better than the glorious roster of twenty songs that I provided. Unbelievable. Seriously, I'm completely at a loss as to what the fuck is going through your minds here. Unbe-fucking-lievable.

Sometimes I think I'm so out of step with the good brethren of this board that I wonder how the hell I ever won this stupid competition. Tonight I'm embarrassed that I ever won it. I mean, what does that say about me, eh?

Fuck the lot of you - and while you're at it, fuck the Cup.

And the best of luck to A.

When I got knocked out, Griff, I was able to console myself with the knowledge that it's nicer to go out with people saying you had a strong list and were unfortunate to lose, than to go through with people saying that your list was rubbish and just lucky to come up against one even worse.

Unfortunately in your case it looks as though everyone's said your list was rubbish and voted against you. Oh well.

Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

I actually sent you that Girls album just so you would vote for me. It was a brilliantly devious svengaliesque act of genius. Or so I thought.

You do have a point: A is so unimaginative (and likely to win), that even I had to vote for your pile of ill-conceived tedious toss.
