And so it ends - final words from the organiser

Hurray! I have my life back!
Seriously, this has been a really good tournament, which has been fun to view from an inside perspective. Setting it up was pretty stressful, but once it got going it ran a lot more smoothly than I'd actually hoped for, so thanks to those who regularly got their lists in on time. It was gratifying that no serious delays occurred during the tournament as a result of late lists.
I'd like to thank all those who helped out; a regular chorus of BCBers helped out with the scoring, and Griff gave me some valuable advice when I PM'd him. And, of course, thanks to everyone who participated in the competition and who voted. I love the BCB Cup, and I was happy to step up to ensure the competition took place. I'm also pleased that the consensus is that I did a good job - there were a couple of isolated cock-ups, but overall things went very well. I really did appreciate all the positive comments I received in PMs and on threads - this made it all worthwhile. Thanks one and all. And, of course, we had a really good final match-up, which pleases me no end, not least because it shows that highly personal lists can be successful.
So that's it until 2012. No doubt Bizarro #1 will pop up shortly to host the Bizarro BCB Cup, that hideous travesty of everything that the virtuous BCB Cup stands for...
