This one was never close - I make it A 43, B 29. B was The Driver.

ELO?
this year's cup has been defiled and rewarded for it.

I thought that was the best list left in the competition, at least it was individual.
I seriously anyone would notice if the rest of the lists were switched around, including their owners probably.
Identicate BCB lists,

Identicate BCB lists,
Nonsense, it's the best year yet. We have taken the competition to new levels of splendour, and I include Matty in that who was unlucky to go out tonight.

Well it was a good run. To be honest, I'm surprised (and proud) that it got as far as it did. The whole point of my list was not to be obscurist and just list a load of tracks that I really like and that I hoped others would too. I wanted to see if I could get a good distance without including something that was only on the Pitcairn Island release of Velvet Underground and Nico or some obscure arty fucking track by Edvard Cortez and his balalaika-playing Silverback Gorilla Orchestra of the Outer Hebrides, and instead just have a bunch of tracks that you wouldn't mind sitting down and listening to for the pure fun of it.
And it seems to have been consistently popular with some of the ladies. Which is nice.
My last five were a bit of a rush job for a number of reasons, but no excuses. I've had a damned good run and it's been fun, even a little nervewracking at times when a couple of the ties were close.
Thank you to all those who voted for me in this round and all those before. My competition this time round was a fine collection of music, and clearly the compiler has taken great care to craft such a high quality list of songs. Congratulations A, and best of luck in the semi-finals.
Though if you think you can count on my vote you can fuck right off.

And me. It was my favourite!
Bad luck, really. For me, that was the best list left.
