While our honorable winner may not share the same feeling his victory was a victory for all the Ks.

Congratualtions John and commiserations Joe.
Well done to Griff for another sterling job in what was quite an arduous year.

I know it felt that long but, checking back, it was only 2 months.

Isn't the prize something to do with hosting as many BCBers as possible over the next twelve months?

Well played John. You'll note I voted for you.

Signing up for every cough going seems to be a plan, eh?

Congratulations John_K, your list had some very fine songs indeed. :)

we need a cup, an actual BCB Cup, and each winner gets their name engraved on the cup and gets to keep it for a year

I believe that the "trophy" is this LP, now residing on John K's mantelpiece:

That trophy got me laid so many times. That's one of the advantages of winning - Cup groupies. Don't you find it coincidental that Griff gets married not too long after his victory? He found his 'Patti Boyd'.

Enjoy but just don't go all Tiger Woods on us, John.

In the hope that this thread is archived and resurrected for reference next year, can I put in a plea that in future years lists are added to each round from the top, rather than at the bottom. This focuses the voter on the new selections each time. It may also mitigate against certain lists becoming overfamiliar.

This is a worthy suggestion, and I propose you submit it to Cupmeister John K for approval - if this is accorded, we should act on it.

And that way you could be sure that Farewell Farewell is actually the last track, hey Joe? ;)
