I've finally managed to wittle down my 18 albums to 10 songs. So do I pm my list to this Griff fella?

So what happens now, do I get to wear a crown for the year?

The wife and kids are fascinated to find out what the prize is

I've really enjoyed the experience this year, beating my previous round 1 exit a couple of years ago.

Thanks to Griff for organising it all, and to Oscar, Blue Meanie, LMG, Martha, Jeemo, Mike Boom and of course Thesiger for the matches along the way.

I laughed out loud when I saw myself and Joe had picked an Aztec Camera track each in our last 5.

Do we become part of BCB, or does BCB become part of us...?

Well as I remember, Mike Boom is of course still an active and potent force in the cup, Jeff K faded but went onto great fame as a pundit and analyst, Griff was unable to replicate his success and instead settled for featuring in a series of reality TV shows and high-profile adverts, and Strider burned out too quickly, wasting his time on parties and supermodels, and ended up an all-but-forgotten, drug- and booze-addled cautionary tale about the perils of fame and fortune.

Well done John. I trust you are spraying champagne all over your keyboard even as we speak.
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.
