B has the stronger list.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

A close race decided by A's not being weighted down by Abba.

B

Teenage Kicks makes its return!

Seriously though, both very good lists. In fact, there were so many decent lists this year, some of which I was forced to vote against.

B starts stronger but has got dodgier along the way whereas A has found its voice a bit. Both new fives are patchy but A has Ann Peebles and Venus but it's very, very close overall.

The third most difficult dialect to understand combined with the sixth most difficult language to learn has spoken.

Too bad I didn't understand a fucking word.

B is good, lots to like in Judee Sill, Todd, nice Dusty track and Glen Campbell, the Move, in fact I think Ive voted for this list before, and I do like In Every Home ... a lot and good Bowie, Smiths and even a Phil Ochs track.

A has my fave XTC the great and undervalued Peter Pumpkinhead which I just love, Chest Fever which is a personal favourite, King Midas which is another personal favourite and is generally pretty much up my street. Song for Europe, Posies and really not a dud track on it.

So its close but

A

Well no actually, I have no problem with B beating my list, I just like list A better.
