B's first 15 or so are exceptionally strong, but A's brisket is the most consistent o er the ling haul. I think in some ways I'm way closer to B, but it's gotta be

Shame these two are up against eachother because both would have edged the other two for me. A remains predictable, obvious, desperately canonistic and, it has to be said, pretty near fucking perfect.

I knew I got "Boomed" in the quarter finals. I also pretty much said so... if I in anyway caused people to vote against his list because they didn't want a three-peat, I am sorry. Mike had a fine list (mine WAS better), and I voted for him in this round. Sorry Mike.

I'm bummed out. I wanted Mike to go all the way this year after my obviously superior list got edged out in, uh, round three.

My list was another Boom casualty. I have to admit, I was not a big fan of his list. It was annoying to see my list go down against some of the Vashti Bunyan he was serving, but clearly Mike knows BCB's taste - such as it is. Even so, his list got better as it went on and he managed to get me to vote for it the last two rounds. Whomever it was who took him out in this round earned their victory and deserves better than to have it written off as anti-Boom sentiment.

Mike has already proved he knows how to play his game like a mutherfucker, and his making the top 4 only adds to his legend. But all props to the winner of this round for outlasting the champ.

Of course I plan to vote against you in the next round whoever you are. But that probably means you are destined for victory. :)
