Some of the early picks for A are still carrying the list - but that's enough to get by B.

It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

Definitely preferred A up to now but its really turned me off with a good two of its additions (and I'm not wild about the PE track either), and as B picks Walker then it seems right to transfer my affections. I'm a capricious soul.

Of the new fives, Wave of Mutilation has always been a favourite of mine.

A by some distance. Its earlier choices are still holding it up.

Really close - I'm choosing A just as it has a few more tracks I really like.

The bottom part of B is totally incongruous, but B's still got my vote.

A

It seems to go through phases - a run of singer-songwriters, a run of black music, a few 80s 'children of Roxy' moments, some more singer-songwriters, 80s indie. Picking the Pixies and XTC is just not a good plan at this stage - it can't help but look stodgy. Maybe slip one or the other in your first 10-15 but right now I want to see some magic.

It's almost enough to lose me. But B just doesn't connect with me at any point.
