A seems to have picked the greatest and most obvious hit by each of it's artists, but that isn't neccesarily a problem because most of them are pretty good. B has excellence, but also slips on some poor choices of song (why Toadies ?) or just poor bands (The Boo Radleys, the very definition of a group with good record collections who can do nothing at all with their influence other than parp out a hollow simulacrum and pass it off as genius).

B is crazier and a bit poppier and I like that. A's selections are generally exemplary but it doesn't far enough away from its basecamp.
