Despite the Yo La Tengo and Animal Collective, B's simply more consistent.

I can't believe how often lists I've liked have been drawn together, it's getting beyond a joke really. I'l have to consider this further.

A is a bit too BCB but very good whereas B is the one of the few remaining lists I can get behind so...

I've sometimes thought A was covering bases but it's really developing its individuality now. Great 23 Skidoo pick, now there's something from the post-punk era that deserves championing. Overall A deserves to go far.
B has its strengths too and there are some very good picks in its new five, but that Yo Lo Tango song annoyed me..limp hipster posturing picking over the carcass of the Velvet Underground.

That was a tough call.
That was a tough call.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Neither of these really ring my bell. I would love to go with B for trying something different but a lot of it is just dreary. Back to the security blanket of the canon.

Re: BCB CUP 2010: Round 3, Match 13
I like A's list very much. Starts so strong, and the inclusion of Fela/Daft Punk etc at the start is pretty great. The latest five adds, though, suffer from unfamiliarity (links people, if you expect me to work to hear this stuff, your overestimating my need to support you), or just plain dislike....
B is the opposite. Starts off shakey, but I like it the more we go on with this.
