Another close one, with lists I can neither dismiss nor embrace fully. Morphine swings it for B, while Oasis turns me against A.

Not much wrong with either list, but I like where B's going now. It started off with pretty good choices well within the BCB mainstream, yet has now wandered off fruitfully into more personal territory. I think 'House Of Jealous Lovers' is terrific, and, though I prefer 'Arms Aloft', it's still good to see Joe Strummer's late renaissance recognised.

B has brought in the excitement gang...
