B barely squeaks by me, which enables them to give us...Weather Report? :?

It's close, and A is just the latest in a series of lists blowing my good will with the damned Gun Club again, but it still has enough to get my vote. Soft Machine goes a long way with me.

Two very good lists, but there's an appeal to direct grooves and visceral impact that I really like in A. Hard luck B which is the list of a connoisseur.

B a lot of the tracks are bit familiar but Concrete and Clay is a great choice, and it also has Solid Air, which is enough to win this one for me.

I've liked A all along and no reason to change horses now.

Some neat stuff in both. I'm starting to rather fancy B, although there is thirty or so years' worth of music it really ought to check out.

My least favourite match-up of the night. However, B's started to go to more fertile territory with some of the new choices, so B wins my vote.

I think B's new five are stronger, but overall, I prefer A

Both are good mixes of well-knowns and obtuses.

Slightly towards A

Most of B is fan-bloody-tastic. Most of A isn't. Easy B for me.

Esoteric lists, with a real mix of music in both. I prefer A overall.
