Curse you A! Like the Baron, I was going to choose the Swamp Dogg track but couldn't find a decent link.
Anyway, I still prefer B overall but I could have done with some links for both lists.
Bugger off.

I like pretty much all of B's songs, and am partial to a bit of Matthew Sweet now and then, so it's certainly not a black mark against it, and that's a lovely Chills pick to boot- perhaps Martin Phillipps' most charming early song. Nothing wrong with A, either.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

I think B's now my favourite list left in this comp.

A has the Elliott Smith and that AC/DC track is fucking refreshing to hear.

There is much to like on B, but A is fantastic - especially the Swamp Dogg track.

List A:

I Can See For Miles – The Who :D
Don’t Sleep in the Subway – Petula Clark :)
Hang Down Your Head – Tom Waits
Hymn No. 5 – The Mighty Hannibal
Can't Seem to Make You Mine – The Seeds :)
Keep On Truckin' – Eddie Kendricks
Crawdaddy Simone – The Syndicats
There She Goes – The La’s :D
Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) – Nancy Sinatra
Rubberband Man – The Spinners
Who Will the Next Fool Be – Charlie Rich
The Mayor of Simpleton – XTC
Roxanne’s Revenge – Roxanne Shante :D :D
The Wah-Watusi – The Orlons
When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You – Marvin Gaye
You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC :D :D
This Strange Effect- Dave Berry
Pitseleh - Elliot Smith
You're Drivin' Me Insane - The Missing Links
Total Destruction To Your Mind - Swamp Dogg

List B:

Public Image - Public Image LTD :D
Then He Kissed Me - The Crystals :D
Dazzle - Siouxsie & The Banshees
Neat Neat Neat - The Damned :)
What Becomes of the Brokenhearted = Jimmy Ruffin :)
Pyjamarama = Roxy Music
Money (That's What I Want) - Barrett Strong
Destroy The Heart = The House Of Love :D
Heaven Only Knows = The Shangri-Las :D
Cosmic Dancer = T.Rex
Run Run Run - The Velvet Underground :)
Suzanne - Nina Simone
Tale In Hard Time - Fairport Convention
Where Have All The Good Times Gone? = The Kinks
Neon Lights – Kraftwerk :D
Ain't That Nothin' - Television
Here Before - Vashti Bunyan :o :x
Kaleidoscope World - The Chills
Divine Intervention - Matthew Sweet
Roll Away The Stone - Mott The Hoople

A has the 2 best songs but B has the girl group thing going on

I find it hard to vote against a (wo)man who has the sublime taste to post a Roxanne Shante track, I toyed with Have a Nice Day myself.

B is more consistent

Sorry A, damn fine list just came up against a slightly better one and in the sea of dross this competition has become that is a tough break.

Bloody hell, this batch of matches are very evenly matched. Extremely tough - it pains me to vote against either - but.....
