A but + points to B for On The Corner. Also please don't write The Beatles as The Fabs again...

Pretty even so basing it on the new 5 A gets it for Suicide and for not adding Miles Davis.
Bugger off.

Two pretty similar lists, both pretty strong overall, but I like B's variety and bolshiness. I've voted for it before, and I have no problems voting for it this time.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

A. I normally vote against a list that include The Fall, but as both these fuckers do, I'm going with the one that's got Powderfinger. Plus I like the Tim Buckley addition very much.

Close, but I'm going to vote B because that Captain Sensible track still makes me smile!! And it's got the Buzzcocks, which is always a good thing.

List A:

Neil Young - Powderfinger :x
Rolling Stones - We Love You
Modern Lovers - Hospital
NEU! - Hallogallo :D :D :D
Curtis Mayfield - Pusherman
Young Marble Giants - Final Day :)
Gillian Welch - Caleb Meyer
The Fall - Garden :? :)
Brian Eno - I'll Come Running
Nick Cave – Tupelo :D
Magazine - The Light Pours Out Of Me :)
Mission Of Burma - That's When I Reach For My Revolver
Parliament - Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)
The Go-betweens - Right Here :o :x
John Coltrane - Chasin' The Trane :ugeek:
Suicide - Frankie Teardrop :geek:
My Bloody Valentine - Feed Me With Your Kiss :)
Public Image Limited - Poptones :)
Tim Buckley - I Never Asked To Be Your Mountain :x
Johnny Cash - Wreck Of The Old '97 :D

List B:

Swell Maps – Let’s Build a Car link :) :)
Captain Sensible – Wot link
Donna Summer – I Feel Love link :D :D
Neil Young – Don’t Cry No Tears link :o :x
Leadbelly – Where Did You Sleep Last Night? link :D :D
Scritti Politti - The Sweetest Girl link :)
The Flamingoes – I Only Have Eyes for You link
Pere Ubu – Final Solution link :)
The Clean – Point That Thing Somewhere Else link
The Fall – Cyber Insekt link :? :)
War - Low Rider link
Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band - Dropout Boogie link :x
The Jaynetts - Sally Go Round the Roses link
The Buzzcocks - Everybody's Happy Nowadays link :D :D
Big Star - O My Soul link ;)
Bill Doggett - Honky Tonk link
The Fabs - That's The Bag I'm In link
Ritchie Valens – Bony Maronie link
Miles Davis – On the Corner (Part 1) link :ugeek: :o :x
Joni Mitchell – Coyote link

Two pretty similar lists often sharing the same artists, similar chin stroke quotient

I'm tempted to vote against the Big Star list :D

But Donna Summer, leadbelly and Buzzcocks trumps Neu Nick Cave and cash even though Hallogallo just beats I feel Love to the best song title
