If that's how you feel about it, someone else can have the privilege of running the fucking cup next year.

Trust me, I'm only kidding no one else would be fool enough to take this thankless task on.

Yeah and I'm going to win it. You see if I don't. My eclectic mix of vintage sole, reggy, be-bip, hop-hip, 40s psike, hat jazz, acidic folk and post penk will sweep all before it this year. Mwahahahahahahaha.

PS You've voted for me three times already. Thanks. ;)

A lot of good lists going out in round 3. I'm starting to worry...

Is 'dinner party' the BCB Cup Stalinist's equivalent to 'serialist' or 'formalist?'

I like it just fine as a diss, but I wonder what kind of dinner parties Mr. Copehead attends. Pretty hip ones, looks like.

Plus, I just wanted to make a hardcore muso/politics joke. Given, it wasn't very funny. :(

Interesting to note how many people are voting now. It's down to less than 80 on average!

Low voter turnout...the scourge of democracy!

I'll keep voting once I'm out.

Remember that outbreak of FM Gold, light rockmania that broke out for a bit early last summer?

I'm really glad that hasn't spilled over into Cup competition.

How do you think I fucking went out, eh?! I hope next year we don't have 128 contestants frankly.

RULES:

1. Moan like fuck - this is crucial.
2. Don't spare anyone's feelings but your own - fuck 'em. You don't even know them, anyway.
3. Be as petty and petulant as you were feeling at that point when you were dumped out of this stupid competition.
4. Slag off the pile of utter shite that somehow beat you and the morons that voted for it.
5. Generally act like a complete arse - you're good at it!
6. Apologise to no-one.
7. Good grace and being reasonable strictly forbidden.

Surely we are just doing what it says on the tin, no?

is that so wrong? And why should that stop you from entering next year? My main beef with 128 people is that the cup goes on far too long, apathy creeps in much quicker and consequently some of the more interesting lists suffer imo plus there are only a hardcore group of around 70ish who vote anyway.

Yep, I could use a lot more votes right now, quite frankly. I'm a bit peeved by the low turnout. Mind you, if the good-time-Charlie's did vote, they'd probably choose the arse-sucking list that I'm up against. :x

Well, the voting goes in high tempo and in all honesty it gets a bit tedious and more job-like to vote. Some people don't log in for a day(s) and miss out. Personally I only have one list that I like a lot. The rest have got moments but are not really scratching my itch so sometimes it feels a bit random for me.
