Ah well, I feel a little more sangine than last year ( anyhow, I lasted a full day longer - admittedly because I started a full day later ) mainly because my opponents list was one that I would have voted for in the majority of ties so far. I love the Bauhaus, EW&F and Little Feat ( although it wasn't specified if it was the version on the first or second Lp - I feel that points should be deducted for that, say 20 or so ? ) and it's only the Cale/Reed and the pallid Hal I don't dig. The Sabbath is a monster jam ( and has prompted me to buy SBS and Vol 4 ) and the Abba irresistable. Well played ( you bastard) and good luck.

Of course I still claim mine is better but I would, wouldn't I ? It was again designed to be a pleasurable listen and hopefully some of my lesser known, but hardly obscure picks, will lead to someone following them up - that's what the list was about, sharing with BCBers the music I like and which brings me happiness. It may take a little time to search them out but your patience will be rewarded I swear.

Cheers for those who voted for me, anti-cheers to those who didn't - I forgive you, but can't speak for those interested members who have now missed out on my next five.

Ps Thanks to Whod... who pointed out that I'd put the wrong title down for the Sagittarius pick. My excuse is that it was a replacement for Free's Sunny Day which was obviously still in my mind when I submitted the list ( who knows, a bit of tasty hard rock may have swung the tie my way - we will now never know ).

To next year !

ps thanks to Griff for all the effort x

Positively moist. Very un-gashy.

If they every publish a book about BCB, this could be the title.

If it's any consolation Nev, 2017 me would have voted for you list even if 2010 me didn't.
