B might be my favourite list left, in that it seems to define pop in the same way I do; given my tastes were formed in the era of Gary Numan and Devo, that's understandable. However, only 'Be My Baby' really builds on this impression out of the new tracks, and that's a relatively 'safe', 'canonical' choice. A's not bad at all (I don't think there are any really bad lists left), but somehow it seems less intriguing.

B is great but one-dimensional. Has there really been no decent music in the last twenty five years? Mind you, A is pretty similar in that way. Still, it's a bit more fun, I suppose.

A starts off so well, and then loses it in the middle before making a comeback with Freda Payne and Traffic picks. Again, just that touch of eccentricity wins me over and makes me forgive the likes of Springsteen.
