A excited me, which is a lot more than I can say for B.

A is very good indeed - I fear that B's choice of Newsom might prove its undoing, this round.

Finally, a fucking decent list.

You people should be ashamed of yourselves for letting all those other stacks of rancid luncheon meat make it this far.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

VERY tough call. A's got some great stuff, and the newest five is better than the last batch, but still, something's missing. I want to be blown away, or at least taken aback- A doesn't really do that for me. B, on the other hand, despite having Pavement, has Paul Robeson, Tenessee Ernie Ford and Meic Stevens. Even its "safe" choices go ever-so-slightly out on a limb. It's not perfect by any means, but it has more about it that I feel good about rewarding.

I believe A might be some songs one person would play at home, whereas B is stylistically all over the place and I prefer the songs in A anyway.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

A doesn't appeal hugely to me though I dig "London Social Degree" being picked (like quite a few tracks this year it was an early pick of mine ;) ).
With Engine Number Nine, The Snake and The Old Man's Back Again B reaches greater heights. And it picks a song in Welsh.

It's nice to see Billy Nicholls in A, but I'm still voting against it. B is getting worse as it gets weirder, but there's enough there to make it another scrappy winner in another underwhelming tie.

Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
