Tough one. A busts a move with the loveable "Take The Skinheads Bowling" while B counters with the gorgeous "Ashes The Rain and I". I'll go for B by a hair.
You'd pay big bucks to know what you really think.

There really are a ton of things I adore in B. Obvious but great ones from the Tempts, Maytals, Donna Summer and Candi Staton... actually almost everything here is obvious but great, though it gives the illusion of coming a little more out of left field. Nice trick for the Cup!

Ashes The Rain and I –James Gang
Maggot Brain – Funkadelic
(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher –Jackie Wilson
Your Love Belongs Under A Rock – The Dirtbombs
You Got The Love – The Source w/ Candi Staton

That's a bloody fantastic final 5. I look forward to their next choices! B gets it because it's getting better, which is always a challenge.
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

This is a strange matchup and I'm inclined to go for A for being a little bit less standard fare.

A has some great calls - Camper! Nas! Marvellettes! - but ultimately the weight of the right choices in B outweigh the feeling that we've seen some of these fellas before.
