I really like A's variety. B is solid but doesn't have the same mad glint.

Yeah, add Robert Johnson and you'd have to mess up pretty bad to lose me.

It's kinda depressing for a music forum to be proud of not knowing musicians.

I'll go with A though I am not a fan of Eno's Neroli! FC's Autopsy is a good one though.

Fuckin "Autopsy". I KNEW I forgot something. Inspired choice whoever you are. Such a shame that there's not a couple more so I don't have to vote for B

A, but it's close.

Not keen on either; pass.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

Don't get me wrong, I love The Necks. I own four of their recordings and, as an Australian, feel more proud of their achievements than pretty much anything else we have done in the last 15 or so years.

But you put one of their hour-long jams on a list with Eno whacking up the aural wallpaper and I am calling "Snore core!"

This is amazing and exciting music and it goes way beyond the job description of a BCB Cup list.

I have this quaint notion that a really good Cup list can accompany and enrich all manner of occasions - from chinwagging with some chums, to soundtracking a party, to earnestly listening with some headphones on, to just making you feel good as you potter in the kitchen.

A kicks arse in some of these areas and is a fantastic collection of musical excursions, but it isn't a BCB Cup list.

Which is why I am voting for it. ContrArians, arc up your bucket bongs and gaze into the long night.
Good.

A is certainly braver, but B has chosen many more songs i like.

So B deserves my vote.
