In the first round, A had a decent list, but needed more variety. The new choices are funkier, cooler and more streamlined - quality stuff!

Easily A - I should check out that Low song now, 'cos everything else (pretty much) is so good.

EDIT: not to change my vote, but I looked carefully at B's list again and it's very good indeed. Still, I think A just beats it.

At first blush, the two lists seem roughly equivalent, but upon revisiting the whole thing, I think A is hitting harder, tune for tune. I do like both a lot and hate to have to choose.

I'm not sure what Penk will think about his Slick Rick selection being nicked like that! Still it is a great track. Two very strong lists, but A has just that bit more I love.

edit: I've been reviewing my vote here. Although A has some very strong song selections, I feel B has gone out on a limb a bit more and there is a greater exploration of textures and grooves in its list; from the stoned beats of The Phoenix Foundation to the disciplined experiments of Can to the upmarket flashiness and pizazz of Daft Punk. Taken holistically I think B offers a really rich alternative to the rather narrow fixation on singer/songwriters in the cup generally. It would be a rather thrilling listen I feel.

A lot that doesn't excite me, but the two stand outs (Byrds and Impressions) sway it for

I know and like a lot more in A, well, half of it. B I don't like much at all. No links; not that I really like the idea of having to use them, but if I don't know the songs I'm not likely to vote for them.

Both good lists, but I don't like that Daft Punk tune, so I'm givin' it to A.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

Both had standout tracks, but maybe A is a tad more consistent

Both these lists are excellent, probably the best I've seen in this round so far. In fact, A doesn't really falter at all, and wins here despite the quality of B. Good stuff.
