B quite easily, there's an aspect of ..insincerity would be too strong, but a too conscious displaying of range about A. Maybe I'm being a little harsh there, it does make some good picks. But B seems more visceral and alive and that Shangri-La tune still really works for me and they've picked the great Lee Morgan.

Standard BCB Cup fare yet again. Musical roughage. It's hard enough distinguishing the two lists from each other, let alone picking one I prefer. B doesn't have anything off-putting, I suppose.

Awful thing when that happens. I had a similar experience at a Tom Jones concert.

A for me. B picks my favorite Beach Boys song and the Kinks, Shangs and Morgan picks are all beyond debate. But the Gun Club suuuucccck. A has no such baggage.

Both lists are a bit to totemic for my liking, but if I had to listen to one over the other I'd pick B

There's a lot of unavoidable stuff on B (Trashmen, Shangri-La's among other things)

but it's

A by a very wide margin.

Two excellent lists, very tough call.

Not a bad song in A, and B has the very average Gun Club (who seem to be cropping up a lot for some reason) and the Shaggs who are great for kitsch factor but not a whole lot more.

But I simply can't vote against B. Too many moments of greatness. The first five are all tracks I might have picked had I thought of them.

Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

A should have chosen "Little Red Corvette" as the Prince track to make the hat-trick. just my jest. B is rather dull.

B A's list is good, but it's "Buzzcocks", not 'The".
